Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov drew a sharp contrast between Donald Trump’s “understanding” of the Ukraine war and the “craziness” of European leaders.
Alipov claimed Trump “understands that this war is lost by Ukraine and the West.” He depicted European leaders, meanwhile, as “belligerent” and “childish.”
The ambassador insisted that the European belief in a possible Russian defeat is “unprofessional” and that “there is no chance” it will happen.
He explained that this impossibility is a direct result of Russia’s nuclear weapons, which prevent the country from being “taken over.”
He also explicitly cited Russia’s “existential threat” doctrine as the formal policy that allows for the use of these weapons, a significant warning to the West.
