Indonesia’s fuel prices, particularly gasoline and aviation fuel, continue to be among the lowest in Southeast Asia, as reported by the country’s state-owned energy company. The cost of RON 92 gasoline, known locally as Pertamax, stands at approximately Rp15,950 ($0.89) per litre, marking it as the most affordable option in the region compared to prices in Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand.

In addition, Indonesia offers the lowest price for RON 95 gasoline at around Rp19,150 ($1.07) per litre. This is notably cheaper than prices in neighboring countries, with Malaysia at Rp19,822, Thailand at Rp21,412, the Philippines at Rp25,288, and Singapore at Rp48,795 per litre.

The aviation fuel market also sees Indonesia leading with the lowest prices, approximately Rp20,190 ($1.13) per litre, with Vietnam following closely at Rp20,619. In comparison, higher prices are recorded in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

For diesel, Indonesia ranks as the third-cheapest in Southeast Asia, priced at about Rp25,200 ($1.41) per litre, trailing behind Vietnam and Malaysia. These figures underscore Indonesia’s competitive stance in fuel pricing across several key categories within the Southeast Asian region.
